My name is Kerry Lambert and I am absolutely thrilled to join the HERO family as your child's first grade teacher! This is my tenth year teaching, all in first grade. There is something magical in teaching first grade and it's where my heart truly is. I enjoy teaching young learners everything they need to know for second grade but also life skills.

I am very passionate about creating a classroom environment where students feel loved, supported, celebrated, and allowed to make mistakes. My favorite thing to teach is how to read as it is the foundation to everything else, however, you can find me being theatrical, creating chants on the fly, making a song, or simply being passionate about any content I am teaching. 

Outside of teaching, I enjoy being creative, doing puzzles, snuggling my two furbabies, and spending time with my husband and family.
