I was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. I went to Lexington & Richland District 5 Schools. I graduated from Irmo High School where I was a cheerleader...Go Yellow Jackets! I then went to Columbia College, earning my BA in Early Childhood Education and being certified in Elementary Education. This is my tenth year at Harbison West teaching third grade and my third year teaching in the Escolares Academy! I am honored to have been selected as Harbison West Elementary School's Teacher of the Year for the 2022–2023 school year. I have been a part of Harbison West's Cheer Team and Run Hard club. I love being a part of the HWES family!
I am married to Kyle Kimrey, a PE teacher, and wrestling coach at White Knoll High School. Together we have a son, Elias, and a daughter, Martha. I love spending time with my family and friends. I love my faith, reading, photography, sports, and going to the mountains and beach! My former students would tell you that my favorite things are chocolate and "crazy" earrings!
