Thank you for visiting my page. My name is Katie Roush, and I have the privilege of serving as the Reading Coach at SOES. My journey here began as a student teacher, during which I developed a profound appreciation for both the students and the school community. Since then, I have been fortunate to be a part of the SOES family.

I hold an Undergraduate Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Language and Literacy from the University of South Carolina. Each year, my goal is to support educators in fostering and nurturing a love for reading among our students. Together, we aim to instill a passion for reading in every child who walks through our school doors.
