I am excited about this school year with my students and families. This is my 19th year with my SOES family. I taught at two other schools before I joined my SOES family. I have a bachelor of arts in early childhood education and elementary education, from Columbia College. I have a masters degree in Language and Literacy from The University of South Carolina. 

I am married and I have a daughter and two sons. When I am not at school, you may find me at a sporting event, reading, and spending time with my family. I love animals, especially dogs.

I love teaching 4 year old kindergarten. I love to see my students learn. I love to see them making connections as they learn throughout the school year. I believe that my young learners learn through relationships with teachers and other students. I’m very excited about all of the learning opportunities for my students this school year.
