Parent Communication
Parents will be contacted through email as needed.
All documents pertaining to Support Services will be emailed to parents/guardians unless communicated otherwise for all special reviews, Annual IEPs, and Progress Reports.

The easiest way to get ahold of me is through email at jmedwards@lexrich5.org. All emails will be responded to within 24 hours during the week and when we return to school for emails that are sent during weekends, Holidays, and days off of school.
If you would like to leave a message on my voicemail please call 803-575-5724, however, please note that I only check voicemails at the beginning and end of the day and might not be able to respond back until 24 hours to listening to the message.
Academic Seminar
Academic Seminar is when your child leaves their regular classroom to work in a small group with a special education teacher. This time is used to work on their IEP goals and get the support they need.
It is not a study hall. The work we do is based on your child’s individual learning plan, and all the pull-out service minutes in their IEP are provided during this time.
