About Ms.McVey

Hello! I am Ms.McVey. I've had the honor of calling the Hive my home for the last 16 years. Its a great place to BEE! I was named employee of the year for the 2024-2025 school year. I grew up right here in Irmo. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my son (Christian) and reading a good book. Christian is in middle school now, but was an IES Bee as well. As a parent, I've had the opportunity to experience the love our school has for its students. My goal as a teacher is to make sure all of my students feel that same love and support. I know we will have a great school year! ♥️
