How often does my child have art?

I see each class once a week for art. Please refer to the "My Schedule" tab to see which day of the week your child's class comes to art.

When will I receive the artwork that my child has made in art class?

Students will receive their artwork at two different points during the school year: prior to Winter Break and/or Spring Break and right before Summer Break. This allows for me to display their artwork in the hallways at school, as well as for various art shows throughout the year.

How do I know if my child's work has been selected for an art show?

If your child's artwork has been selected for an art show, I will contact you via email. Your child will also be sent home with an invitation depending on which art show their work has been chosen for. 

Do you accept donations of various art supplies for the art room?

Yes! If you have a collection of items that you think there might be a need for in the art room, I am always happy to consider it. This might include things like: toilet paper rolls, yarn, Tupperware containers, cardboard, etc. There is also an Amazon Wishlist for the Art Room if you would like to contribute that way. My students and I are always so appreciative of the support!
