Hi everyone!
I'm Ms. Hipp and I teach Marketing and Entrepreneurship at Irmo. This year will be my 5th year teaching and at IHS.
I was born & raised here in Columbia. I went to college at Ole Miss where I earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree with a major in Marketing. I have a Masters in Education in Teaching from the University of South Carolina. After college, I spent several years in Retail Management and Merchandising in Charlotte & Atlanta before moving back to Columbia to sart teaching.
Outside of teaching, I love finding new restaurants, spending Saturday mornings at Soda City, going to concerts, reading, traveling, and cooking. I love sports and am a huge Ole Miss football fan. I also have a (very large) orange tabby cat named Charlie.
I absolutely love getting to know my students and playing a small role in helping them find their path in life. I believe that every student deserves to go to school in a welcoming and supportive environment, and I hope that my classroom can be that place for them. I consider it an honor and a privilege to work with the Irmo High School student body and I am so lucky to get to know each and every student that walks through my classroom door.
