What does gifted and talented mean?

Harbison West Elementary Gifted and Talent Development  Magnet  School seeks to explore the gifts and talents of all students in both the arts and academic realms.  These gifts and talents are developed and explored through enrichment clusters. 

Do you offer afterschool care?

We are fortunate to have many daycares that pick up from our school. YMCA, Brussels Gymnastics, Afterschool Zone, Safari are just some of the daycares that pick up. We also have an in house after school program called WINGS. 

Is transportation provided?

At this time, transportation is not included.  However, it could be offered in the future.

Do I have to reapply every year to keep my magnet spot?

Once you have applied and got into the Magnet Program or the Escolares Academy, you do not need to reapply each year.
