Welcome 

I am privileged to be able to serve the students, teachers, and parents at Ballentine Elementary as the reading coach. Previous to my current role, I worked in Florence 1 Schools for 15 years. During my time in Florence I served as a third grade teacher, reading coach, and curriculum technology coordinator. 

After 15 years I felt it was time for a change and the opportunity to be at Ballentine presented itself. My role allows me to work closely with teachers and students to provide support for reading and writing. I also help parents by giving them resources to support their children at home.

I am looking forward to the new school year and all of the opportunities we have for learning and working together.
