HELLO FAMILIES!

I am thrilled to welcome you to a new school year at FIVE, our district's Flexible Innovative Virtual Education program.

With over 25 years of teaching experience, I am proud to say that 24 of those years have been spent in District Five. I graduated from The University of South Carolina with a BA in Early Childhood Education. I am currently certified and recognized as Highly Qualified by the SC Department of Education in Early Childhood and Special Education Learning Disabilities for grades K-12. Additionally, I have completed numerous postgraduate courses focused on meeting the unique needs of our students.

My husband and I reside in the Irmo area and have four adult children who are all graduates of District 5 schools. I also share my home with two Boykin Spaniels, Ellie and Riley. In my spare time, you can find me enjoying my favorite beach or exploring new places around the world.
