I’m a proud educator with 29 years of experience. After a brief nine-month “retirement” (can you really call it retirement if you come back?), I spent the final third of last school year teaching at Chapin Intermediate. Over the years, I’ve also had the pleasure of working at both Piney Woods and Irmo Middle. Before joining Lexington/Richland 5, I lived in the Northeast and taught in Richland School District Two.
I’ve been happily married for 31 years, and we have one son who makes us incredibly proud. He graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Industrial Engineering and now works just down the interstate near Greenville.
At home, I have three dogs—each with their own sweet and sassy personality. Now that our son is grown and on his own, these pups are my “new kids,” so expect to hear plenty about them!
My husband and I love to travel. Here we are in Italy on a trip of a limetime!
Whenever I can, I go to Buffalo to see family and catch a Bills game. The young man on the left is my son, and the young man on the right is his cousin.
These are my girls: Clover, Daisy, and Lily. You will hear me talk about them A LOT!
This is all of us together. Boy, was this a hard picture to pull off!
