As the Senior Class Advisor at CHS, my commitment is to ensure that every senior enjoys a memorable and fulfilling final year of high school. I am dedicated to being accessible to all seniors and their parents, fostering strong connections and open communication throughout the year.
By continuing cherished Chapin traditions such as Senior Sunrise, Class Day, and the exciting Decision Day/Graduation Supply Pick-Up, I aim to create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere that celebrates our students' achievements. Additionally, I will organize and oversee graduation to honor this significant milestone, ensuring that the senior year experience is not only enjoyable but also unforgettable for each student.
Graduation Regalia

Brief Descriptions of Important Senior Events
This event occurs early in the morning on the first day of school! Our senior student government leaders will run this event to get us started on the best year ever!
Order Deadline - October 13th
1st Supply Pick Up - November 5th
The senior pledge assembly has been a rite of passage at Chapin High School for many years. Seniors wear their senior t-shirts and are challenged by our principal to meet the graduation requirements! Each senior uses their new pen to sign their pledge as a promise to walk across the stage at graduation!
It has been a tradition at CHS for seniors to have a "Toga" pep rally day. Each senior class has waited 4 years to wear the coveted toga! Many seniors decorate their togas to make the day even more memorable!
Seniors have fun during PowerHour while picking up their graduation supplies!
While the practice of seniors willing sentimental items to friends and family is not unique, the Chapin High School Class Day Program is. The Class Day tradition began under the principalship of Evans E. “Sonny” Proctor who was principal of CHS from 1967-1983. Under Principal John Anderson, who served CHS from 1983 - 2002, the Class Day event was transformed into a formal program, including the white dress requirement. For over 50 years, the Class Day Program has been a rite of passage in which graduating seniors bestow tokens of appreciation to parents, teachers, and friends in the presence of underclassmen who anticipate their own Class Day programs. Through Class Day, graduates can honor those who have guided and influenced them as they move beyond Chapin High School to continue their journeys elsewhere.
