Mrs Breigh DiCicco-Sanford

I am in my 31st year of teaching Special Education. I am delighted to be returning to HEC this school year, working with the Special Education Team. I obtained my master's degree in Special Education from Queens College, NY. I have been married for 27 years and moved to South Carolina four years ago. I have 2 adult children. My son recently began his career helping children and families. My daughter is currently studying at Greenville Tech College. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my dog Bear, boating, golf, outdoor activities, and being with family and friends. I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning!

I've lived in and around the Irmo area my whole 22 years, I love this community and love putting my energy back into my neighbors! Nothing brings me more joy than supporting, growing, and loving our learners who need it most.

In addition to working in District 5, I also work in Chapin as a music teacher, voice coach, and director of children's theatre.

When I'm not running around the Midlands, I enjoy spending time with my two younger brothers and making memories with our family.

I'm incredibly excited to begin my first year at H. E. Corley with Mrs. Breigh! I have five years of teaching and high-needs care experience, and I am always looking to expand my span of knowledge. I can't wait to make connections with each student I meet and learn how best to serve, educate, and support them individually. It's going to be a great year!
