Welcome to Curriculum Night 

Dear Eagle Families, 

On behalf of the Chapin Intermediate faculty and staff, I would like to welcome you to the 2023 - 2024 Curriculum Night Site.  At Chapin Intermediate, we want all students to fulfill the purpose of Earning their W.I.N.G.S.  To achieve this goal, students must embrace the process of developing their “Eagle Sight” and “Eagle Strength”.  “Eagle Sight” focuses on how students see themselves and others, while “Eagle Strength” focuses on students having a growth mindset in everything they do. This year, you will have the opportunity to support this process in a variety of ways.  We encourage you to participate in your child’s school experience by attending conferences, joining the PTO, and making suggestions to the School Improvement Council.  

On this site, you will find important curriculum information from your child’s teachers.  This information will help you to partner with us to build our student’s Eagle Strength!  For your convenience, each department and/or teacher has published a short presentation that outlines expectations for each course offered at CIS. 

Thank you for entrusting us with your students and partnering with us as they grow academically, socially, emotionally and physically.  These are exciting years and we will make the most of each day spent helping our students move toward Earning their W.I.N.G.S!  As you familiarize yourself with the contents of this site, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or administration and let us know how we can assist.   We are off to a great start this year and I am looking forward to watching your students Earn Their  W.I.N.G.S!!
