Heather Callahan

Hey there! I'm Heather Callahan and I am so excited to be at Piney Woods Elementary. My husband and I live in the Chapin area, and we have two children that attend schools in the district. Our daughter will be a student at Chapin High School, and our son will be here at Piney Woods. I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks! I received my bachelor's degree in Advertising and my master's degree in Elementary Education. I completed my student teaching in Lex/Rich 5 and then was hired full time. This will be my 19th year teaching in the district. During those years, I have taught both 4th and 5th grade. Fourth grade is such a big year for change and growth. I love teaching 4th graders! Piney Woods is such a special place and I'm so excited to be a part of this community. I can't wait to meet each one of you!
