Chapin High School added men's soccer in 1979 and was Coached by Chapin Athletics Hall of Famer Randy Cooper. In Coach Coopers third year the Eagles made it to the Upper State Finals and squared off with what would become one of the great rivalries in South Carolina Soccer the Eastside Eagles. The Eagles would fall that day but they would eventually get to the State Finals. Coach Thad Miller led the Eagles to their first State Championship appearance. Legendary Coach Dick Hiller won the school's first State Championship in 2002, and followed that up with the repeat in 2003. Ben Bosco collected 2 Championships in 2016 and 2017. Ken Corning led the Eagles to the 2018. We continue to embrace that history of excellence and work hard to bring the 6th Star to the bade. Familia Omnis Est!
