Hello! This is my twenty-first year of teaching, and my first year at DFMS. I teach both CP and Honors 8th Grade Science. I’m originally from California but moved to West Columbia when I was 6 years old and have spent most of my life in this area. After graduating from Brookland-Cayce High School, I attended and graduated from Point University in East Point, GA (later the campus was moved to West Point, GA). In 1998, I went back to college at USC and received a Master's in Teaching. I also earned a Master's In Educational Administration in 2020.
I've been married for over 20 years and have two children, ages 19 and 13. My hobbies include watching college football, officiating high school football, and playing my guitar. I look forward to this school year!
