Welcome! 

I am Megan Bochette, the School Counselor at Ballentine Elementary. This is my first year at BES, and my 6th year as a School Counselor. I am passionate about supporting students and helping them reach their full potential. I enjoy helping students build confidence, develop positive relationships, and learn the skills they need to be successful both in and out of the classroom. I work with students through classroom guidance lessons, individual counseling sessions, and small groups focused on their academic, social an emotional growth. My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where every student feels valued, encouraged and empowered to grow. I feel fortunate to be part of each student's journey and to help them build the skills they need to thrive! 

I'm originally from Upstate New York, but moved to South Carolina in 2024.  When I'm not working at Ballentine, I spend my time with my husband, 2 daughters, and my dog Pippa. I love to read, travel, cook, bake and love arts and crafts.
