What is a Spirit Rock?
Spirit Rocks are a great way to celebrate special occasions, such as birthdays, accomplishments, thank you messages, and other important milestones.
We have three spirit rocks located at the front of the school
(at the beginning and end of the car line) and the bus loop.

Front Exit Rock (B)
Bus Loop Rock (C)
All proceeds from Spirit Rock rentals go to the BES PTO and are tax-deductible.
The Rules?
You must paint over the previous message before beginning your design.
Paint both the front and back of the rock, as it is visible from different angles.
Be mindful not to drip paint on the ground—bring protective materials to cover the area around the rock.
Content Guidelines: All designs must comply with District Five's content guidelines. Inappropriate content (such as foul language, slurs, or violent imagery) will be removed, and vandalism will be reported to the district.
The PTO reserves the right to block off dates for school use or to remove inappropriate content.

To reserve a Spirit Rock:
1. Click the link below to go to the PTBoard Spirit Rock page.
2: You’ll be prompted to log in or create a PTBoard account if you don’t already have one.
3: Once logged in, you’ll be able to view available dates and reserve your desired date for the Spirit Rock.
Things to Note?
Rental Cost
$50 per rock, per week. All rentals are non-refundable.
Rental Duration
A rental runs from 4 PM Friday to 4 PM the following Friday.
Availability
Rocks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Painting
All painting must be completed outside of school hours during your rental week.
Painting Supplies
You are responsible for providing all paint and supplies. For the best results, we recommend using spray paint for a base coat and acrylic craft paint with craft/foam brushes for designs.

What can I reserve the rock for?
You can reserve the rock for any occasion, including birthdays, thank you messages, accomplishments, and more!
Are rentals affected by the weather?
Rentals are rain or shine. If needed, you can towel-dry the rock, and the paint will adhere in the rain. In case of multiple days of extreme weather, you may request to move your reservation to the next available week.
Does the PTO paint the rock?
No, painting the rock is your responsibility and part of the fun!
What if someone else thinks they have the same rock reserved?
Please double-check your reservation and payment to ensure the correct date and rock are reserved.
