About Ms. Ashleigh Morse
Hello parents and students! I am the full time music teacher at CES! My itinerant traveling music teacher, Aimee Boudreau, will be at CES 3 days a week. If your child is in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade but has Ms. Boudreau for Music, they will be working with me at certain points in the year on a grade level program/performance!
As a student, I attended Leaphart Elementary, Irmo Middle, Irmo High, and the University of South Carolina (2003 graduate) where I double majored in Piano Performance and Music Education! I am a piano accompanist and occasionally sit in with bands and other musical events! I am the accompanist for the D5 Honor Choir and play keys in a Doors tribute band! :)

Throughout the year we focus on steady beat, rhythm, matching pitch, reading notes on the staff, tempo, singing and moving to music, music history, music styles, how music relates to everyday life, holiday and cultural music, and experimenting with various percussion instruments and one woodwind (recorders ~ early flutes in 4th grade and piano keyboards in 3rd grade). 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade are involved in grade level programs/performances!
