Social Studies
Class overview
Students in 6th grade Social Studies will study World Civilizations to uncover trends from prehistory to present day. Students will learn what defines civilizations and how geography played a factor in the exchanges, expansion, and formation among and between them.

About me
This is my 6th year teaching, but my 1st year teaching 6th grade. I'm brand new to Cross Roads, so you and I have something in common! When I'm not teaching, I'm either hiking, traveling, or running.
I graduated from Columbia College with my bachelor's and loved it so much I went back and earned my master's from there.
I have been married for 12 years. My husband, Zach, is a Nurse Practitioner. We have 2 awesome children. Parker is 9 and Annabelle is 6!
