Class overview
Students in 6th grade Social Studies will study World Civilizations to uncover trends from prehistory to present day. Students will learn what defines civilizations and how geography played a factor in the exchanges, expansion, and formation among and between them.
About me
This is my 12th year teaching, and my 5th year teaching 6th grade. When I'm not teaching, I'm either hiking, traveling, exercising, or singing.
I graduated from Columbia College with my bachelor's and loved it so much I went back and earned my master's.
I have been married for 18 years. My husband, Zach, is a Nurse Practitioner. We have 2 awesome children. Parker is 15 and Annabelle is 12! Our family enjoyed Ireland over the summer and during Fall you can find us watching 49er Football.
I want it to be known that I will always do my best to make my students feel seen, heard, and known.
