Hey y'all! ☀️

My name is Jenna Gross and I am 2nd grade teacher at Ballentine this year! Returning to Ballentine as a teacher is extra special to me because 20 years ago, I actually WAS a Ballentine bear! 🐻 This will be my 9th year teaching in D5 and I am so grateful to give back to the community who gave me so much. 

Teaching is truly a passion of mine! I believe that for students to truly succeed in the classroom, they must first feel loved, valued and seen. It is my job to teach them new skills and help them grow academically, but my ultimate goal is for every student who leaves my class to feel loved, supported and like they truly belong. 

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family. My husband and daughters are the lights of my life! I also love to craft, garden, dance, listen to music, eat good food and relax. Communication is HUGE for me! We are on the same team and I want us to stay connected during the school year. The best way to communicate with me is through ClassDojo!
