Hey y'all! ☀️

My name is Jenna Gross and I will be a 2nd grade teacher at Ballentine this year. I am so excited to be returning to Ballentine as a teacher because 20 years ago, I actually WAS a Ballentine bear! 🐻 This will be my 9th year teaching in D5 and I am so grateful to give back to the community who gave me so much. Teaching is truly a passion of mine! I believe that in order for students to truly succeed in the classroom, they must first feel loved, valued and seen. It is my job to teach them new skills, but it is my goal for my students to leave my room feeling loved and have a sense of belonging! In my free time, I love to spend time with my family. My husband and daughters are the lights of my life! I also love to craft, garden, dance, listen to music, eat good food and relax. Communication is HUGE for me!
