The Mill Theatre at Dairy Road presents several productions in-house each year. Our seasons are based on these principles:
The Adaptation: there is nothing new under the sun - what can we learn from an existing work?
The Tentpole: which shows will have most appeal for our audiences?
The Gamble: with a bit of the past and a bit of popularity under our belts, we'll take some risks.
The Revival: regular programming of the national repertoire is essential for telling our Australian stories (that's what we think!)
If you have a show that fits those principles, come along to a drop-in and let's have tea and a chat after!
Hi, I'm Lexi!
You might remember me from all those Lakespeare & Co images with pink quills. Having successfully created and run that company for over 3 years, I am now the producer for the Mill Theatre at Dairy Road.
Lexi Sekuless Productions runs the Theatre, producing theatre shows and running regular drop-in and shadow-emerge-mentoree programs.
The Theatre runs on an ensemble model called the Players. The best way to join us is to come to a drop-in and see if you like the work. Drop-ins are also the best first point of contact for script writers, directors and designers.
Feel free to send an email with any questions.
