Highline is Lexington High School’s student-led broadcast and digital storytelling program. Now in its second year, Highline empowers students to create original video content—from news features and interviews to creative segments and community stories-that reflect the voices, experiences, and interests of our school community.
Rooted in collaboration, media literacy, and real-world production, Highline is more than a class; it’s a creative studio where students learn to research, script, film, edit, and share professional-quality work for authentic audiences.
Students build technical and storytelling skills while producing content that highlights what matters to teens today, both inside and beyond the classroom.
