About me

Before we start on our learning adventure, let me share a little about my life. I was born in Massachusetts and have an Italian & Irish background (my paternal grandparents were from Italy and my maternal grandparents were from Ireland). I have two brothers and one sister who still live in New England . I started studying Spanish in middle school, just like you. I graduated from Boston College (undergrad and graduate school: I'm a double eagle). I love to travel and have been to many Spanish speaking countries like Spain, Costa Rica and Panama.

I came to Diamond in 1997 and have enjoyed teaching Spanish all these years. I have taught and continue to teach all three grades. Outside of school, my hobbies include reading, cycling and crossfit. I have an adorable doggie (tri color hound dog) names Bella. I will most likely mention her many times this year. Who knows, maybe she'll pop into my study while I'm teaching you.

I know this is a different kind of school year and want you to know that we've got this. Our surroundings may not be as traditional as before, but with effort and patience, we can make this a great year. :)
