Hi! This is my twelfth year of teaching, and my seventh in middle school! I started teaching high school English where I grew up in Indiana after finishing my B.A. in English & Secondary Education (with a theater minor) at Goshen College. After moving out to Boston for graduate school at Harvard's Graduate School of Education where I got my M.Ed. in Learning & Teaching with a focus on Instructional Leadership, I decided it was time to dive back into middle school. I am so happy I found myself here at Diamond!

Outside of the classroom, I spend as much time as possible outdoors, and most weekends you'll find me somewhere around New England biking or doing some other outdoor activity with my wife and our husky mutt, Sochi.
