About Ms. Tracy

Originally from Rhode Island, Ms. Tracy moved to Massachusetts to study Applied Mathematics at Harvard College.  During her time at Harvard, she completed her student teaching at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, wrote an honors thesis about hidden Markov models in Bach's chorales, and had time to music direct an a cappella group.  After graduation, she moved across Harvard Yard and received an Ed.M. in teaching and learning from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.  Ms. Tracy is entering her tenth year teaching (and 10th year at LHS!)  Besides her work in the classroom, she enjoys working with students on our robotics teams.  Outside of school, Ms. Tracy enjoys singing in local choruses, cycling classes, and learning more about math with her friends and colleagues!  She is also the original Derman fan, since she bought the first dinosaur in March 2022.
