Ms. Carbone earned her master's degree in Art Education in the Spring of 2019 from Boston University, and her two bachelor degrees from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in Art Education and Painting/Two-Dimensional Studies.
This is Ms. Carbone's seventh year working in the Lexington Public Schools district. She started her career in Lexington at the high school for a one year position. Ms. Carbone teaches all grades at Jonas Clarke.
After school in the Spring, you can find her coaching track and field with Clarke students. As a former long distance runner, it brings such joy to continue to work with the sport and to mentor young student-athletes at Clarke.
Her favorite art mediums are drawing and painting from life, as well as collaging with mixed-media and acrylics. Ms. Carbone is currently working with epoxy resin to create both functional work and art pieces.
Ms. Carbone is also a huge animal lover- students learn early on about her rabbit Cannoli.
