Hello! My name is Peter Wang and I'm currently a freshman at UMich. I was a President of Novi HS SciOly in the 2023-2024 season and led the team to its first ever National Tournament qualification! At Nationals, I placed 2nd in Air Trajectory and 5th in Scrambler (though I was merely a fill for the latter). My hobbies include hanging out with friends, playing/watching tennis and basketball, and listening to/playing music!

Hi, I'm Anish, the Anatomy C ES. I attend Seven Lakes Junior High School as an 8th grader. I will be a freshman at Seven Lakes HS next year. My interests are biology and medicine. I've competed in Anatomy, Disease Detectives, and Microbe Mission for 2 years, and Road Scholar for 1 year. Hi everyone! I'm Nathan, a senior at Winchester High School and one of its captains. I've been doing SciOly since 8th grade (McCall on top), and my favorite events are Astronomy C, Forensics C, Meteorology B, and Science Quizbowl. Aside from SciOly, I love playing sax, making alfredo, and hanging out with my friends. Hi! My name is Bella and I am currently a sophomore at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. Entomology is objectively the only event I do that doesn't almost give me a heart attack every competition, but I'm still an avid enjoyer of build events, especially helicopter. Apart from SciOly, I enjoy music a lot and like to play piano or strum along on a guitar while singing. I'm glad I have the chance to ES for LexSO! 

I think Science Olympiad is very cool, my favorite events are entomology, chemistry lab, and fast facts. Besides competing in Science Olympiad, some other things I enjoy doing include drawing, listening to music, and drinking lots of water.

My hobbies outside of scioly include baking, volleyball, and violin. However, I very dearly wish there was a cat ID trial somewhere in the world. 

Hi! I'm Caroline Ehmann, and I'm a senior at LHS. I've dabbled all over in my four years with Lex Scioly, with my current events being Forensics, Entomology, Ecology, and Bungee. My one true love, though, is the trees. Outside of scioly I love anything outside, from hiking to envirothoning to visiting to US national parks.

I’ve competed in a wide variety of events ranging from WIDI to Forestry to Air Trajectory, but my all time favorite will always be Forensics. Other than strenuous build calibrations of course, I enjoy reading and playing tennis. I also like trees :) 

Hi I am Arran Ferguson, I am a senior at LHS (I think the oldest). I have been doing Sci Oly since 6th grade.  My favorite events are fossils and it’s friend R&M. I collect both Minerals and Fossils in fact some of the speed ID  photos were of my own specimens.  

Hi, I'm Malachi, your local (or perhaps distant) paleontology enthusiast (and Fossils B national gold medalist). I hope that the test was adequately challenging and most importantly, that you enjoyed taking it. I certainly enjoyed writing it! 

HI! I'm Ryan Xia, a freshman at Acton Boxborough RHS. My favorite Scioly events are:

- Forensics, because the event is a lot of fun!

- Fossils, because it came after forensics alphabetically on the event list and I needed another event to do!

Outside of Scioly, I enjoy debate, playing the clarinet, and sleeping, even though I get 5 hours of sleep per night. I also look forward to doing rocks and minerals next year, because I love when things are inorganic and naturally occurring. I really dislike when things are organic and... not naturally occurring. I definitely got carried in writing this fossils test, so if you have any complaints about it you can ask someone else :D 

Hi! I'm Anirudh Pulugurtha, a freshman at Acton-Boxborough. My favorite Scioly events are: Robot Tour, because robotics is fun! Geologic Mapping, because I like mapping. Outside of Scioly, I enjoy math, playing basketball, and robotics ("but scioly has robotics" well there's better robotics). I also look forward to learning what road scholar is all about since I've never competed in division B, but it seems really cool.

Otherwise he likes his cat despite the fact that he probably has rabies. When he is not making concrete for science olympiad, he likes playing the piano and drums and being a big back.

Hello there! I’m Andrew, a sophomore at Tufts unfortunately majoring in biochem and math. This is my third year ESing for LexSO, and I’ll be helping out with Science Pun Fun this time around. Outside of Scioly, I spend an inordinate amount of time poking zebrafish in my lab, but I also enjoy bouldering, hiking, cycling, cooking, and playing piano terribly.

I'm Sophia Zhang, a Lexington High School aluma and fresh(wo)man at Wellesley College. I co-founded Science Pun Fun and ran it all four years of high school. I competed in many events including Disease Detectives and Ornithology. I am the #1 ranked individual by engagement in the Massachusetts Science Olympiad server as of April 2025.
