Multicultural Festival

Hi everyone!

We are excited to announce the NHS Multicultural Festival, happening from 3:10 PM to 5:00 PM on April 4th. The NHS Multicultural Festival aims to celebrate the diverse cultures at Lexington High School. The festival will begin immediately after school in Commons II. Both NHS and non-NHS students are welcome to volunteer and participate! Volunteers receive 5 NHS hours total for running a table, 3 NHS hours total for making food, and 2 NHS hours total for putting on a performance. This is a great way to earn NHS hours as the April 30th deadline approaches! 

If you are interested in volunteering at the festival, please fill out the form below. Volunteers are welcome to run a cultural table, bring food, host games and activities, and put on performances! Most students running a table often choose to dress up in clothing that represents their culture and bring cultural decorations. 

IMPORTANT:

Before filling out the form, please OPEN AND READ THE ATTACHED SPREADSHEET! We have limited spots and have implemented a system to keep track of all of the tables with the spreadsheet. We would love for you to email/talk to other people who are working on similar tables if there is no space. The reason for doing this is two-fold: we want to make sure as many people have the chance to help out as possible & we don't want to have a lot of repeated content between tables. I urge you all to try to see if you can work together with another group if applicable and check the sheet as needed. Sign-ups are first come, first serve! Valid submitted forms will be added to spreadsheet regularly, space-permitting & will be granted editing access (please be respectful and only edit your own table's details—thank you!).
