About the library.

The Harrington School Library serves all students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Students visit the Library with their class each week for a lesson, followed by book selection and hands-on curriculum activities at centers.

The library is home to thousands of books, educational videos, periodicals, and reference materials. The library computers and Chromebooks provide access to the online library catalog, encyclopedias, periodical databases, and age-appropriate web sites.

The goals of the Harrington School Library are to foster the love of reading, teach information literacy and digital citizenship skills, enhance classroom curriculum instruction, and provide a wide range of quality children's literature in a welcoming and accepting environment.
