Students: Approximately 340 students from K to 5th.
Resources: About 15,000 items: books, magazines, Playaway audio books, educational DVDs, eBooks, and digital audiobooks.
Technology: The Library's desktops and Chromebooks provide students with the technology to search for library books and access to online encyclopedias, periodical databases, and age-appropriate websites.
Goals: The goals of the Fiske School Library are to foster the love of reading, teach information literacy skills, enhance classroom curriculum instruction, and provide a wide range of quality children's literature.
Students attend library class each week to listen to stories, practice library skills and check out books.
The library is open to students to explore and check out books all day. With teacher permission students are encouraged to visit the library any time they need.
Early morning before school and late afternoon after school are also great times for students to find their next great read!
