K-3 Summer Literacy
Practice and Fun
Please note that the Cary Library’s Summer Learning will look different this year.
What will be the same?
You will still have access to the robust recommended reading list.
You will still be able to visit the library and check out books.
You can still use the Ask A Librarian form to request a curated list of books.
What will be different?
There will be no summer learning challenge this summer, therefore no prizes this year.
The Bingo Board and reading log will be available online for you to do on your own, no formal library challenge or prizes. (Beanstack accounts from last year are still available for tracking digitally).
The Children's Room and Teen Room will be closed for the renovation.
A limited children's and teen collection will be available to check out upstairs on the Main Floor.
Cary is getting ready for amazing transformation, however it does mean limited access this summer.
This could be a perfect summer to explore other public libraries in Massachusetts. Find a library near you.
Some fun blogs and articles with ideas of places to get started.
