DIAMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL CLUBS
  • STUDENTS should complete the registration form while logged into their LEXINGTON GOOGLE ACCOUNT (@lexingtonma.org). Other email accounts will not work. 

  • Online registration begins on January 30, 2026, at 8:00 PM. 

  • The registration will close on February 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM.

  • The registration link will be posted below.

  • Each club meets for 10 sessions from March 9, 2026, to June 12, 2026.

  • Attendance will be taken at each session.

  • For clubs led by high school students, Diamond students will attend a supervised study hall by the advisors until 3:30 PM, when the high school students arrive.

  • Registration guidelines are subject to change.

CODING CLUB

Come to Coding Club, where you can learn how to program! Every day, learn something new about a programming language (chosen by everyone in the club!) and create a new program! The club is geared toward those with little or no coding experience, but students of any coding experience can join. We have prizes!

DEBATE CLUB

In Diamond Debate Club, students are taught a variety of skills relating to competitive debate, ranging from public speaking, research, and argumentation. Students practice those skills in drills, practice debate rounds, and fun debate related games that allow them to grow skills that can be useful not only in arguments, but also in many other aspects of their lives.

Welcome to the Fitness Club — where fitness and fun come together! Build your fitness while having fun! Participants will take part in a variety of fitness activities, including fitness games, fitness challenges, and bodyweight workouts. All activities are designed to help improve endurance, flexibility, and strength in a fun and supportive environment. Participants should wear sneakers and workout clothes.

GREEN TEAM

Come be a part of the Green Team as we work together on becoming a more sustainable community by creating positive change through action, education and a stronger appreciation of our Earth.  Lots of hands-on opportunities to lead projects and bring new ideas to the group.  The Green Team is an excellent opportunity to get involved at school and in the greater community.  We host special guests, lead a variety of school initiatives and participate in special events outside of school.  Join today!

LEGO CLUB

Thursdays 2:50 - 4:00

Advisor: Mr. Buckley 

This club will give students time to work on Lego projects after school. We will have kits with instructions students can build or there will be lots of pieces for free building their own projects.  There will also be Knex kits and gravitrax marble rolling building toys as well. Students will be able to store their projects between sessions or work on something new each session.

MAGIC THE GATHERING CLUB

Magic the Gathering Club is open to all grade levels and invites students to dive into the world of one of the most popular trading card games around. This club is a fun and welcoming space to play, talk strategy, and learn Magic the Gathering together. Most sessions will be spent battling in games, building creative decks, and experimenting with new ideas, whether you are just learning the rules or refining advanced strategies. If you enjoy competition, creativity, and hanging out with others who love games, this club is the perfect place to jump in and start playing.

MODERN CALLIGRAPHY CLUB

Discover the art of beautiful lettering in the Modern Calligraphy Club! You’ll start with the foundations of calligraphy using practice sheets, then apply your skills to creative projects like card making, wall art, bookmarks, watercolor designs, stickers, and more. Each meeting offers a new project, so you’ll always leave with something unique and personal! We will provide all materials. Music and other personal devices are allowed.

ROBOTICS CLUB

Do you want to think like an engineer? Join the Robotics Club! We push the boundaries of robotics beyond wires and code, turning ideas into reality. We don’t set limits on creativity and encourage students to build, break, and create their way out of the multitude of challenges we present to them through various mediums (EV3, bridges, planes, and more!). Not to mention the friendly competition between peers. Robotics Club: A club built to be better.

THE QUILLIAN

Love to write? Love graphic design?  Then we need you!  The Quillian, Diamond’s online literary magazine, needs editors to help manage submissions and update the website.  We will also spend some time doing our own creative work and sharing our ideas.  Join us after school on Wednesdays!

UBUNTU CREW

Ubuntu Crew is an experiential learning program that mimics the artist-commission process. We learn about and research public art and street art, build skills for design and large scale work, and execute a full-scale mural in a public space within the school. Please see Mz.
