Nǐ hǎo! 你好 Huān yíng! 欢迎/歡迎！
My name is Pei-Chi Chuang (莊珮娸/庄珮娸). You may call me Chuang Lǎoshī (Teacher Chuang). I grew up in Taichung, Taiwan. I earned my master’s degrees in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and Foreign Language Education, specializing in Mandarin Chinese, from New York University
I love diversity and embracing different cultures. I started my teaching role in New Zealand and continued my passion to the United States. I believe languages serve as a bridge for linking people and equipping people with a unique lens through which to view the world. This is one of the biggest reasons why I want to teach Mandarin. I’d like to thank you for allowing me the opportunity to educate your child this year. It is a privilege to be a teacher, and a responsibility that I take very seriously. I feel fortunate to be able to teach a subject that I love, and to spend my days helping my students become the best Mandarin speakers they can be.
