About the Teachers

Mrs. Schadler

I have been teaching ELL in Lexington for nearly 20 years. Before teaching in Lexington I was a classroom teacher in Sudbury, MA.  Prior to that, I spent one year teaching English in Japan.  It was during my time in Japan that I learned how challenging it is to not be able to speak the language.  That experience has shaped how I view all our ELL students and the process they go through to learn English.

I live in Lexington with my husband and two children (and our dog, Zuzu).  In my free time, I enjoy cooking, gardening, cycling, and reading.

Mr. Plamondon

This is my sixth year teaching ELL at Bridge Elementary School (twenty-second year at Bridge), and my twenty-fifth year overall teaching. Before I began teaching at Bridge I taught at the Newton Early Childhood Program in Newton, MA and worked at the Arlington Ice Rink driving the zamboni.

I attended Bentley University in Waltham, MA where I received my Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management. After Bentley, I received my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Recently, I completed my English as a Second Language license.

I was born, raised, and currently reside in Arlington, MA with my lovely wife, Carolyn and our two beautiful daughters. When I'm not at work, I love spending time with my family at home and traveling all over the New England states. In my free time, I enjoy playing ice hockey, watching sports with my family and friends, and taking photographs.
