The Massachusetts School Administrators’ Association (MSAA) award is given to students who have made outstanding contributions to Lexington High School.  

This year the award goes to the senior members of the Turing Alliance Club whose efforts to educate LHS and LPS staff and students about the experiences of neurodivergent students and strategies for supporting neurodivergent students and friends.  This education has had a profound positive impact on our community.   These students provided professional development at Lexington Learns Together for district staff, for all ninth grade students as part of the Adolescent Health 1 curriculum, and for all LHS staff and faculty at an April faculty meeting.   In doing so these students embodied almost all of our district’s core values but most especially, “Be Courageous”, as leading adult professional development and speaking to three hundred adults in one setting can be unnerving even for the practiced, and “We All Belong” because as one member of the club put it, “Neurodivergence “isn’t something to be fixed”.   The seniors and founding members of the club are:
