Hello!

Welcome to 8th grade science and the Alliance science community! I am Ms. Moy (she/her), and I look forward to a great year of learning.

In my classroom, I aim to provide as many hands-on experiences and real-world applications as I can to make science learning meaningful and accessible. I also love incorporating puns and bad jokes periodically in my lessons -- feel free to share your favorites with me!

Our units of study this year include Motion and Newton's Laws, Non-Contact Forces, Motion and Energy, The Sun-Earth-Moon System, and Atom Combinations. We will also use this content as context to engage in and build good study habits as well as practice thinking and doing as scientists.
