Camp Overview

Battle Road Lacrosse Camp is an elite instructional and developmental day camp for Boys & Girls entering 3rd through 9th grade.  Our enthusiastic and experienced high school & club coaching staff brings cutting edge skills and techniques to our campers. We maintain a low camper-to coach ratio for an optimal learning environment which emphasizes fun!

Battle Road Lacrosse Camp is perfect for new players looking to learn the sport, veteran players looking to advance their game, and even elite club players looking to fine tune your skills for summer tournaments or club try-outs.

Conveniently located less than a mile from 128/95 in Lexington, the Lexington Lacrosse Camp is held at Lincoln Fields, which is widely considered one of the finest outdoor athletic facilities in the entire Northeast. The three full-sized synthetic-grass fields provide a safe playing surface in nearly any weather conditions and allow for the campers to get used to playing the game at a fast pace.

As coaches we recognize that there is a large jump from learning a skill and applying it correctly.  Playing only games doesn't allow for development. Just running drills doesn't allow for application. To truly develop new skills, players must be taught and then have an opportunity to apply it in a game. That is why our daily schedule includes both new skill development and the opportunity to apply it!

Camp Philosophy

There is lacrosse adage that if you want to learn and enjoy the sport at a high level you need to do 3 things:

Despite this being a proven strategy, recently the trend has emerged where Summer Camp is replaced by Summer Tournaments. Competition and game play are always important, but they don’t offer much in the way of advancing and perfecting skills. In fact, instead of correcting bad habits they can actually reinforce them.

We believe the true way to love this sport is to first build confidence, and that comes from learning, developing, and conquering new skills & concepts.  Battle Road Lacrosse Camp  is a Boys & Girls Instructional Camp focused on lacrosse fundamentals, character development, and most importantly - FUN! Our integrated and age based curriculum focuses on individual skills development, positional-based concepts, and situational strategies. And YES - we play games too!

Attending camps like this one growing up, I know the value of getting hands-on teaching from someone who played goalie so I’m very excited to share everything I know about being a goalie (and lacrosse in general) this summer and help young goalies grow!
