I am a Special Education teacher who teaches students with disabilities who attend general education classes. I spend most of my day teaching math, reading, and writing to small groups of students.

My other responsibilities include:

Testing students’ progress monthly

Assisting students with core classwork

Supporting teachers of students with IEPs

Communicating with parents

Documenting parent/teacher conferences

Updating IEP goals and services

Teaching students behavioral, social, and job skills
