Teachers will communicate with parents directly through email, phone, ParentSquare, or scheduled parent conferences.
Teachers will communicate with students through in-class conversation, scheduled conferences, email, Parent Square and/or Schoology.
Parents should communicate with teachers via email and phone calls.

-Students are only permitted:
10 unexcused absences per year-long course
5 unexcused absences per semester course
3 unexcused absences per quarter course

-All Excuses should be submitted within 3 school days of the students return to school.
-Parent/Guardian Notes are not excused but are excluded when assessing absences for truancy.
-Truancy is defined as 3 consecutive or 5 total unlawful absences per year. Truancy Flyer

Sign In/Out: Parents must sign students out in person and present a valid ID. Students are not allowed to be signed out of school between 3:15 and 3:45 p.m.
