MacBook screen recording gives students a simple way to capture their thinking in real time. Learners can record their screen while explaining a math problem, narrating a presentation, or demonstrating how to navigate a website, creating clear, visual proof of learning that can easily be shared with teachers.
Access the screen recording toolbar by pressing Shift+Cmd+5.
Select the recording type from the Toolbar.
Select Options to control recording—for example, set the save location of the screen recording or include the pointer or clicks in the screen recording.
Select Record.
To stop the recording, select the Stop Recording icon in the menu bar (in the top right of the screen).
Locate the recording in Finder:
The recording saves automatically; Mac uses the name "Screen Recording date at time.mov".
