Summer Reading boosts literacy and language skills, promotes creativity and imagination, builds community connections, develops critical thinking skills, encourages family bonding and much more.

May 30 - Summer Reading begins
June 5 - Summer Reading Kickoff Party at Gilbert-Summit Branch from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
June 13 - Begin picking up prizes
July 25 - Summer Reading challenges end for Lexington One
August 1- Summer Reading challenges end for Lex Co Library
*Every Thursday - Weekly Lego Club at 11:30 a.m.

CAPSTONE SUMMER CAMP
From April - September 2023, children can participate in Capstone’s Virtual Summer Camp Adventure through the bi-weekly choice boards. The choice boards are filled with activities around reading, learning, creating, coding, science, moving, technology and more.
