SUMMER READING 2024 Landing Page
Welcome Scout Families!
This is your landing page for Summer Reading 2024. We are partnering with Lexington County Public Library, Gilbert-Summit Branch for Summer Reading.
This summer, embark on a journey that will ignite your imagination, broaden your horizons and transport you to places you’ve only dreamed of. Challenge yourself to try new things, choose the path less traveled and discover a greater version of yourself.
Summer Reading helps build literacy and language skills, prevents the dreaded summer slide for school-aged children, encourages teens and adults to experience the joy of reading and so much more.
Immerse yourself in endless fun as you explore everything your local library has to offer this summer. From exciting programs and exhilarating reads to museum and park passes, you choose your adventure.
Keeping up with summer reading is easy with options for paper tracking cards and the Beanstack Tracker app (available on Android and iOS systems).
June 1 - Summer Reading begins
June 6 - Summer Reading Kickoff Party at Gilbert-Summit Branch from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
