Library Studies Elective

The Library Studies elective is a service-oriented semester-long class based around the American Association of School Librarians’ standards framework for learners. This course empowers students to lead in the library while learning how to access and organize resources for academic research, develop literacy skills and enjoyment, use technology to enhance learning, and provide support to other students. In addition to daily roles and responsibilities, students will create a digital portfolio as their final project.

If you are interested in applying for Library Studies, please email Mrs. Jorgenson to receive the application form. Two teacher recommendations will be required with your application.
