Adding posts

To add a new post to blog section of your website (if any), first head to your dashboard. Click on the +New button in the admin bar, or on the Add New section of the Posts menu.

  1. Start by adding a title
  2. Set a featured image for your post (if any)
  3. Start to add your post's content
  4. Use the add block button on the top left to add more blocks to your post

You can move blocks up or down by using the arrow that appears while hovering a block. Alternatively you can drag and drop them using the handle (6 dots) icon.

Once you are done you can publish your post using the Publish button on the top right of the screen. Once a post is published it will be publicly available on your blog.

Use the Preview button at any time to preview your current working version without affecting the published version. Click the Update button to publish your changes.

You can also switch back to draft if you want to un-publish your post.

Note on Elementor pages

Posts layout is handled by WordPress' Gutenberg block editor as demonstrated above. This allows post to have a consistent layout.

If you need more control over your layout you can choose to convert your post into an Elementor page by clicking the Edit with Elementor button.

For more help on how to use Elementor please refer to the Editing pages guide.

Please note that once a post has been converted to use Elementor it can not be converted back to the Gutenberg editor.
