LMC Materials for High School Students

All L2IC students interested in Job Shadowing at Lexington Medical Center (LMC) to experience a glimpse into Healthcare careers onsite must complete the orientation process as required by LMC and LMC Job Shadow Request forms. Click on the following LMC links to be prepared. You will need to review and sign the Google form once you have read the information. Be Ready!

All LMC Job Shadows are ONE - 1/2 day  8:00 AM - 11:30 AM Only 

LMC Student Career Observation Request Forms Required

• Dress Code: Job Shadows Dress Code is non-negotiable. If you show up dressed inappropriately, you will not be allowed to job shadow at LMC and school absence will be unexcused. Required

• HIPAA Powerpoint  General overview: All patient and treatment information is confidential. Required

• LMC Shadow Areas 2024 - 2025  Review and choose two (2) areas. Make certain you are know where the site is located that you are requesting to shadow. There are several Lexington Medical Center sites. Required

• LMC Orientation Packet LMC requires all students to review this information prior to job shadowing to be familiar working at LMC and expectations. Required

• Active Shooter flyer LMC requires all students to review this information prior to job shadowing to be familiar working at LMC and expectations. *Should a situation occur while you are shadowing, follow the shadow hosts' lead to remain safe. Required

• Park:  Parking Lot G (In front of Main Entrance) see Map Required

• L2IC Job Shadow Request forms  Required once Lexington Medical Center assigns a Job Shadow date and location, you will be contacted and provided the L2IC Job Shadow forms to be completed. 

L2IC LMC Required Orientation Google form Complete and submit after reviewing the above information to be considered for LMC Job Shadow experience. Required
