L2IC students interested in Job Shadowing at Lexington Health to experience a glimpse into Healthcare careers in person need to review all information, agenda, dress code, areas of interests, map for parking and complete the request form and the L2 & Lexington Health Job Shadow Form. Students are eligible to shadow/observe one time per academic year.

All Lexington Health Job Shadow/Observations are ONE - 1/2 day  8:00 AM - 11:30 AM Only. 

NOTE:  

• L2IC has two seats on the months listed below. 

• One (1) student shadows on each assigned date. 

• Complete Fillable form. It is below. 

• Print. 

• Parent/guardian sign and You sign.

• Two L2IC students will be selected to participated on months as listed below provided student has: Completed all forms and in good standing with: attendance, grades and discipline.

• Lexington Health assigns the date and location for students to observe/shadow based on your 1st and 2nd choices noted on the form. 

• As soon as assignments are received from Lexington Health, student(s) will be notified with the assignment date, location and contact name. 

• After you Shadow / Observation is complete, follow up in person with Mrs. Plowden. Then, attendance will be updated as an excused absence at L2IC and your home high school.

Lexington Health Job Shadow / Observation Application Required

• Dress Code is non-negotiable. If you show up dressed inappropriately, you will not be allowed to job shadow at Lexington Health and school absence will be unexcused. Review dress code below. Required

• Review and choose two (2) areas. Make certain you know where the site is located that you are requesting to shadow. There are several Lexington Medical Center sites. 

• Park:  Parking Lot G (In front of Main Entrance). Map is below. Required
