If a student wishes to improve a quiz or test grade, he or she may do so by making "corrections."
For quizzes, students will be awarded full credit for each complete correction. No partial credit will be given for incomplete corrections.
For tests, students will be awarded half credit for each complete correction. No partial credit will be given for incomplete corrections.
Corrections are a way for students to return to quiz and test grades, assess what questions they missed, and figure out which answer is actually correct.
Corrections for ELA include the following:
****Be aware that "because I looked at my notes" or "I guessed" are not adequate explanations. In order to receive credit, the student must explain, using ELA terms and/or original thinking, how he or she knows the new answer is correct.
