Lewistown Electrical Contractors was started in 2020 by Kyle Martinez following a 10 year career with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Following his dream to run his own business, Kyle moved back to Lewistown and took up shop. Beginning with residential work and partnering with MS Residential, LEC grew significantly over its first two years, leading Kyle to enlist his father, Jeffery Martinez who also had a full career as a licensed electrician, as a part owner in 2022.
Today, LEC has grown into a residential and agricultural electrical contracting shop, serving the greater Lewistown area led by Kyle and Jeff. It offers a multitude of service and new build work to the community as well as career opportunities as a state sponsored apprenticeship program.
Kyle started his electrical career in 2013 with IBEW during the Bakken oil boom.
During and after his 5 year apprenticeship he worked on the road from Oregon to Nebraska gaining experience in all electrical fields.
He is now settled in Lewistown with a loving wife and son, seeking to utilize his business plan to provide his skill set to the highly deserving community.
Jeff's career started shortly after his military service with the United States Air Force.
Completing his apprenticeship through ESSI in Roundup and gaining invaluable experience in Residential, Commercial, and Industrial installations, he became a father of 4 and moved his career to Colstrip, MT.
After a decade of power plant and mine experience, along with Fire and Rescue service, he moved once again, this time to Lewistown. There he gained more invaluable experience working as a Pipeline Technician for Phillips 66.
He is now a proud Grandfather and partnered with his son Kyle to help provide quality and commitment to the local community.
