"I am currently the Fergus FCCLA Chapter President as well as the Montana State President. I started my FCCLA journey as a competitor in the STAR Event, Leadership. I took this project to SLC where I placed 1st, then I traveled all the way to San Diego, CA where I placed 6th in the nation! FCCLA has helped me a ton with my confidence, public speaking skills, and critical thinking. As an aspiring Pediatric Oncologist, I am excited to take the skills I have learned in FCCLA into the real world after I graduate."
"My name is Maddy and I am the secretary/treasurer of Fergus FCCLA. As the secretary, my main duties are to record minutes for all Fergus FCCLA chapter meetings and help modify the chapter’s point system. And as the treasurer, my duties are to keep track of the money flow of our chapter. I have also been elected district 3/9 president. My main officer duties as a district president are running meetings and planning the 2024 fall district meeting. And as for my career goals, I am hoping to become an oncology nurse. And I am planning on working as a travel nurse for a while to experience different parts of the country and hopefully the world! I think FCCLA will help me with different skills in my future career including communication and planning ahead."
"My FCCLA Chapter office is Student Council Representative. In my office, I network with other students in the high school and tell them about what FFCLA is all about and the opportunities that are available to them in FCCLA. I also serve as Student Body Secretary on Student Council, so I advocate for FCCLA on student and school affairs. I have also spoken with the school board to advocate for FCCLA funding to allow members to travel around the country for competitions. My goals for this year is to increase member involvement to 30 members and let students at FHS know about all of the activities and competitive events available in FCCLA."
"I’m Lexi Breidenbach and have been a member of Fergus FCCLA for 4 years and an officer for 2. Throughout my FCCLA career, FCCLA has provided me a multitude of opportunities through service, and astronomical personal growth through leadership opportunities and learning experiences. Last year I served as the chapter Media Relations Person, while this year I am the chapter Vice President. As Vice President I help plan chapter events for our wonderful members, as well as run meetings in the absence of our president. One of my goals is to encourage member involvement, as it is incredibly important in order to benefit from the things FCCLA has to offer. Another goal of mine as Vice President is to better communicate with the officer team, as well as our members to encourage participation. I am eternally grateful for the lessons FCCLA has taught me, they will truly last a lifetime as I pursue my goal of becoming a nurse."
"I'm District Treasurer and Chapter Media Relations Person. I'm working on a community outreach project through FCCLA and I'm doing a STAR Project."
“Hello there! I am Ms. Vincent, and I am proud to be the Fergus FCCLA Chapter Adviser. Even though this is only my third year leading the Fergus Chapter, I have been involved with the FCCLA Organization for over 15 years which included serving as the Montana FCCLA State Adviser. FCCLA is something I believe strongly in as it provides a place for many students to experience personal growth and leadership development in an organization that provides a comfortable space for students from all backgrounds. The thing I hear over and over again from alumni is how valuable FCCLA was to them and how it really did prepare them for life after high school. When I completed my FCS Education Degree at Montana State University (Go Bobcats!) after high school, I didn’t know how much career fulfillment I would have by becoming involved with FCCLA. I bring my excitement and passion to my members, and I will take them as far in the organization as they are willing to work towards the endless opportunities.”
